OpenField is a free, local Higgsfield-style studio for video, stills and 3D on ComfyUI

OpenFieldFree, open source (MIT; runs locally on your GPU)

OpenField is a free, open-source studio that runs on your own NVIDIA GPU and puts screens for video, stills, 3D objects, effects, upscaling and talking shots on top of ComfyUI workflows. It was built for Comfy's Open Source Higgsfield challenge and uses only open-weights models such as LTX-2.5 and Qwen-Image, with no credits or paid account.

What it does

Create covers text or image to video with 28 motion presets, stills, seamless loops, image-to-3D models and adding a soundtrack to a silent take. Director turns genre, camera, framing, light, film stock and grade choices into the shot; Scene has a local LLM plan 2 to 6 shots and cut them into one take; Stage lets you block a shot in the browser with boxes, figures and your own .glb models plus a camera path, which the LTX-2.5 Layout-to-Render IC-LoRA renders as a finished shot. Mirror puts a move you film on your phone onto any character, Reshoot re-aims the camera on an existing clip, and Finish includes SeedVR2 upscaling and HDR masters (ACEScg EXR, HLG). Every take opens as the exact ComfyUI workflow that made it, and 31 MCP tools let Claude or another agent run every app.

Worth knowing

The README asks for an NVIDIA card with 24 GB of VRAM for video (it was built on a 32 GB RTX 5090); 12 to 16 GB runs stills only, and macOS is not supported. The core install is 72 GB and every bundle together is about 334 GB, so install only what you use. You need a free Hugging Face read token for the gated LTX-2.5 weights; the optional FLUX.2 bundle is non-commercial and the MiniMax H3 bundles are geo-restricted. Comfy Cloud works only experimentally; local ComfyUI 0.38 or newer is the supported path.
