FLUX 3 Max Prompting Guide: the Five-Part Image-to-Video Prompt
Bennett Heyn at fal breaks down the prompt shape behind the best of a thousand FLUX 3 Max test clips and shows it in 50 copyable image-to-video examples. The start image decides the look, so the prompt spends its words on camera, action, environment, light and sound.
Key points
- Name one camera move and its speed; if you need two, write each as its own verb
- Write the main action as beats in order, using words like "then" and "as"
- Give the environment secondary motion such as steam, spray, ripples or swaying laundry
- Say what changes in the light and what stays still: "Nothing else moves" stops unwanted motion
- End with a Sound line listing three or four specific sounds
- Refer to things already in the frame with "the", use one small object for scale, and ask for one continuous shot if you need it
