ReAngle re-shoots a video from a new camera angle, locally with LTX-2.5
ReAngle is a free, open-source app that takes a clip and gives you the same performance back from a new camera angle, such as an orbit, crane, push-in or freeze-time move. It runs on ComfyUI with LTX-2.5 on a 16 GB NVIDIA card, and you can draw your own camera path in a 3D preview before anything renders.
What it does
The first frame is lifted into a depth mesh with Video Depth Anything, and you pick a preset or drag the camera and add keyframes while a warped preview updates. The whole clip is then reprojected along that path and fed to LTX-2.5 through the Layout-to-Render IC-LoRA, which paints in the areas the new viewpoint reveals; those are pre-filled from the background, never from the subject, to avoid ghost silhouettes.
Longer clips render in overlapping chunks that are re-anchored to the source and colour-matched, the original audio is put back, and a one-click export makes a 9:16 before/after video.
Results and limits
The author tested it on an RTX 5080 16 GB: about 55 seconds per chunk, peaking at about 15.3 GB, with output of about 0.2 megapixels and up to 5 seconds. Small moves of about 10 to 20 degrees work best, faces drift slightly over long clips, and loose hair, screens, tiny text and anime footage are hard for the depth step.
Worth knowing
Cards under 12 GB are refused, and the higher-VRAM tiers in the README are untested estimates. Without a GPU it runs on Comfy Cloud, where the author measured about 50 to 95 seconds and $0.03 to $0.07 of credits for a short 448×448 orbit, using a different IC-LoRA with slightly more drift at the frame border. The app is Apache-2.0; LTX-2.5 is free for commercial use only for companies under $10M in annual revenue. It was built for Comfy's Open Source Higgsfield challenge.
Try it yourself
Drop in [a 5-second clip of one person talking], pick a 12° orbit, keep Fill revealed areas on, click Re-shoot, then use Export for social to make a 9:16 wipe of before and after.
