LTX Desktop 1.3.1 adds 4K, an assistant and new IC-LoRA tools for local LTX video
LTX Desktop, Lightricks' open-source app for making video with LTX models on your own GPU or Mac, reached version 1.3.1 with 1440p and 4K output and an assistant that plans and queues jobs from plain words. It also adds four IC-LoRA tools, including AlphaGen, which cuts a subject out of a video without a green screen.
What it does
Text to Video, Image to Video, Audio to Video and the start-frame LoRA recipes now go up to 1440p (clips up to 20 seconds) and 4K (up to 10 seconds, no 21:9). The new IC-LoRAs are AlphaGen (a transparent WebM cutout plus an MP4 matte), Motion Track Control (draw up to three motion paths on a start frame), Video Guide (follows pose, depth or Canny edges from a guide video) and Ingredients (up to 10 reference images in one video).
Worth knowing
The Assistant runs on Gemini with your own API key or on a local model from the Models tab, and it also works from your phone through Remote. On Windows, cards with 9 GB or more of VRAM and fp8 support can now generate locally at smaller settings, and a 20-second 1080p clip fits on 32 GB cards; on a Mac, local generation needs macOS 26 or later. The app is Apache 2.0 licensed and still in beta.
