Kling 4.0 launches globally

Kling 4.0

Kling 4.0 is Kling AI's new video model, which can generate up to 30 seconds of video in one go with keyframe control and sound. After early access in late September, it is now fully available, including through MCP and a command-line tool.

What it does

Kling 4.0 is Kling AI's new video model, focused on realism, control and steadier fast motion. It can make up to 30 seconds of video in one go, and its Omni Reference feature combines up to 15 reference materials and up to 10 keyframes.

It can also be called by AI agents through Kling MCP and a command-line tool (CLI).

Results and limits

Director Kim Seong-su presented an AI short film, Worm Train, being made with Kling 4.0, at the Busan festival's ACFM market. The sources give no independent test results.

Sources differ on timing: some features (10-bit HDR, 4K and 21:9) and API access for developers are described as coming soon or planned.

Worth knowing

It's available through Kling's creation interface, MCP and CLI. An API for enterprises and developers is promised soon.
