Creatify launches Boreal ad video model
Boreal is a text-to-video and image-to-video model built for advertising that costs one cent per second. It renders roughly in real time and is available via Creatify's API, its apps and fal.
What it does
Boreal is Creatify's text-to-video and image-to-video model for advertising. It's built on an open-source model that makes audio and video together, then post-trained on ad footage so products keep their exact label and shape and people look like real creators.
It renders roughly in real time, so a 5-second clip takes about 5 seconds.
Results and limits
In Creatify's blind tests, reviewers preferred Boreal to its base model in 81% of decisive comparisons. On an ad-quality judge it passed 70% of the time, against 80% for Seedance 2.0 at more than 30 times the price.
Creatify lists the limits itself: it's strongest on short clips and simple scenes, it barely improves on single-person talking clips, its lip sync is no better than the base, and its output is 720p-class against Seedance's 1080p. All comparisons are Creatify's own testing.
Worth knowing
It costs one cent per second (about $0.05 for a 5-second clip), billed per second of finished video. It's available via the Creatify API, Model Playground, AdFlow and fal.ai.
